Our community is big on support, and we have a robust graduate programme, but we encourage exploration and don’t believe in boxing graduates in.
Omexom invests heavily in graduate development. You will have access to structured training programmes designed for different career stages, covering both technical and soft skills such as communication, confidence and presentation.
There are also dedicated programmes to support women in engineering and promote diversity across the business. We work with you to offer clear pathways for progression, and you will be supported with guidance, mentoring and the time needed to build confidence and capability.

When I first applied, I had never heard of Omexom. I was interested in the placement, but I had no idea just how supportive the company would be.
I started during Covid, which was a strange time to begin any new role, but from day one I had mentors in place who helped me settle in and feel part of the team. No question ever felt too small, and there was always someone willing to give their time and help me understand things properly.
Even as a graduate, my ideas were taken seriously. I was trusted with real responsibility and treated like a genuine member of the team, not just ‘the graduate’. That made a huge difference to my confidence.
When I moved from a graduate engineering role into project management, Omexom were incredibly generous with their time and resources to help me prepare. I was supported not just with technical skills, but also with softer skills like presenting and building confidence.
What really stands out is that the company genuinely cares about its people. There is so much support around wellbeing, development and progression.
